Inconel690 Alloy is the new generation of pressurized water reactor steam generator heat transfer tube material, its nickel base alloy chromium content 27.0-31.0%, about 59% nickel content of the nickel base alloy, nickel base alloy has excellent intergranular corrosion and intergranular stress corrosion cracking resistance.
Application Field: Primarily used for heat transfer tube materials in the steam generators of pressurized water nuclear power plants. The materials used for the heat transfer tubes in the steam generators of pressurized water nuclear power plants have undergone a development process, including 304 austenitic stainless steel, 600 alloy, 800 alloy, and Inconel 690 alloy. Studies on the corrosion failure of 600 alloy in service have shown that intergranular corrosion and intergranular stress corrosion cracking are the main issues. Since its introduction in the 1990s, no reports of damage have been found with Inconel 690 alloy as the material for the heat transfer tubes in the steam generators of pressurized water nuclear power plants. Inconel 690 ( UNS N06690) Nickel-based alloys are mainly used as heat transfer tube materials for steam generators in pressurized water reactors, which is the core technology of steam generators.
