Inconel 600
Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthening alloy with excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, superior cold and hot working properties, and good weldability. It exhibits satisfactory high-temperature strength and high ductility at temperatures below 700°C. Applications include evaporators in petrochemical production, machinery for acid and alkali industries, catalytic regenerators, bulbous parts of heat treatment furnaces, especially in carbonizing and nitriding gases, nuclear reactor power generation equipment, heat exchangers, chlorine and fluorine gas corrosion resistance: production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides, titanium dioxide production via the chlorine process, production and use of corrosive alkali metals, particularly in sulfur-containing environments, jet engine components, afterburner parts of turbojet engines, and other components used at high temperatures.
