Hastelloy C276, a nickel-based alloy containing nickel, molybdenum, chromium, iron, and tungsten, is renowned for its exceptional corrosion resistance. It withstands wet chlorine, oxidative chlorides, chlorinated salts, sulfuric acid, and performs well in hydrochloric acid environments.

Over 30 years, it has been widely used in harsh conditions in chemical processing, petrochemicals, flue gas desulfurization, pulp and paper, and environmental protection industries. It resists pitting, crevice, and stress corrosion, thanks to its high molybdenum and chromium content, with tungsten further enhancing its durability. It can handle moist chlorine gas, hypochlorite, chlorous acid, and highly concentrated chloride salts like ferric and copper chloride. It is also suitable for various sulfuric acid concentrations, including hot concentrated solutions.
