Inconel 625 is a corrosion-resistant and oxidation-resistant nickel alloy used for its high strength and excellent water resistance. Its outstanding strength and toughness are due to the addition of niobium, which, along with molybdenum, hardens the alloy's matrix. The 625 alloy exhibits excellent fatigue strength and resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking. This nickel alloy has excellent weldability and is often used for welding AL-6XN. It can withstand various severe corrosive environments and is particularly resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion.
Application Fields: Some typical applications of Inconel 625 include chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution control equipment, and nuclear reactors. Soft annealed low-carbon alloy 625 is widely used in the chemical process industry due to its excellent corrosion resistance and high strength, making it suitable for thinner structural components. Alloy 625 can be used in environments that come into contact with seawater and endure high mechanical stress; typical application areas include components in organic chemical processes involving chlorides, especially when acidic chloride catalysts are used; it is also used to manufacture pulping and papermaking equipment such as cooking vessels and bleaching tanks, as well as in flue gas desulfurization systems Tower, reheater, flue gas inlet baffle, fan (moisture), agitator, guide plate and flue; used to manufacture equipment and components for use in acidic gas environments; acetic acid and acetic anhydride reaction generator; sulfuric acid condenser
