Inconel 600
Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid solution strengthening alloy with excellent high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, superior cold and hot working properties, and good weldability. It exhibits satisfactory high-temperature strength and high ductility at temperatures below 700°C. Applications include evaporators in petrochemical production, machinery for acid and alkali industries, catalytic regenerators, bulbous parts of heat treatment furnaces, especially in carbonizing and nitriding gases , heat exchangers, chlorine and fluorine gas corrosion resistance: production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides, titanium dioxide production via the chlorine process, production and use of corrosive alkali metals, particularly in sulfur-containing environments, jet engine components, afterburner parts of turbojet engines, and other components used at high temperatures.
