Inconel 600 alloy is a nickel-chromium-iron-based solid-solution strengthened alloy. It has good high-temperature corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, as well as excellent cold and hot working and welding properties. It exhibits satisfactory thermal strength and high plasticity below 700°C. **Application fields**: - Evaporation tanks in petrochemical production, machines for acid and alkali industries, catalytic regenerators, retorts and components in heat treatment furnaces, especially in carbonizing and nitriding gases. - Power generation equipment and heat exchangers in nuclear reactors. - Resistance to corrosion by chlorine and fluorine gases: production of organic or inorganic chlorides and fluorides, production of titanium dioxide by the chlorine method, production and use of corrosive alkali metals, especially in environments where sulfides are used. - Components of jet engines, afterburner components of turbojet engines, and other components used at high temperatures.
