*Characteristics**
- **Corrosion Resistance**: It has excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking in chlorides, low-concentration aqueous NaOH solutions, and high-temperature and high-pressure water. Its corrosion resistance is superior to that of general austenitic stainless steels and Inconel 600 alloy. It can also resist the corrosion of acid and organic acids very well. However, its corrosion resistance in sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid is limited.
- **High-temperature Resistance**: It still has corrosion resistance in extremely high-temperature aqueous media up to 500°C. It can maintain good strength, oxidation resistance, and carburization resistance at high temperatures.
- **Processability**: It can be formed and processed through conventional metal processing techniques. However, its work hardening rate is higher than that of austenitic stainless steels. The hot working temperature range is narrow, the plasticity is poor, the deformation resistance is large, and hot plastic forming is relatively difficult.
**Application Fields**
**Chemical Industry**: It is used to manufacture equipment such as reaction kettles, distillation columns, heat exchangers, acid coolers, and acetic anhydride cracking tubes.
- **Petroleum and Natural Gas Fields**: For equipment used in the refining of high-sulfur and high-acid crude oils, such as pipelines and reactors, N08800 alloy is often adopted. -
**Energy Field**: Nuclear generators, steam heating pipes, heating element pipes, etc.
- **Marine Engineering**: It is used to manufacture seawater desalination equipment, subsea oil and gas pipelines, and structural components of offshore platforms
- **Aerospace Field**: It is used to manufacture key components such as rocket engines, turbines, and high-temperature sensors.
